>> FUFFR - NOW AVAILABLE ON KICKSTARTER

It is rare to get the opportunity to see a product go from concept to market.

Six months ago I covered the fuffr product where the team demonstrated a prototype of the product to developers at a stkhlm.js meetup - since then, the team has distributed almost two thousand developer units and are now ready for masses with their kickstarter.com campaign.

After playing around with the technology we realised the potential of what it could achieve and today we present our first product, focused on mobile gaming.

The campaign has put a focus on multi-player mobile gaming, where backers will have the opportunity to define the type of games that will be launched with the product - however the product could be used for so many more applications, as it effectively provides interaction with the device without obfuscating the display.

I remember seeing early prototypes of the fuffr case when I first started working at Evothings (who helped build the fuffr SDK) and have seen numerous iterations of the product - it is great to finally see a focus on commercializing the concept.

The case is a snug fit on existing iPhone devices - let's hope we do not see an expansion of form factors as has occurred with android devices; which is one of the reasons why it has been initially targeted for the iOS platform.
